Jewellery Care

A little care keeps your pieces shining for longer.

Each material needs different care, so the exact material of every piece is mentioned in its product description. Check it there, then follow the care tips below.

The golden rules (for every piece)

  • Last on, first off. Put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion, sprays and makeup, and take it off first when you get home.
  • Keep it dry. Take your pieces off before showering, swimming, working out or heading to the beach.
  • Store it separately. Keep each piece in its own pouch or box so pieces don't scratch or tangle.
  • Wipe after wearing. A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth removes sweat and skin oils before they settle.

Stainless steel pieces

Strong, durable and great for everyday wear.

  • They handle daily wear well, but staying dry keeps their shine at its best for longer.
  • Avoid long exposure to water, especially pool (chlorine) and sea (salt) water.
  • Keep them away from harsh chemicals, soaps, sanitiser and perfume.
  • To clean, wipe gently with a soft cloth. Stubborn marks can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth, then dried right away.

Alloy and plated pieces

These pieces have a delicate plated finish, so they need a little extra love.

  • No water, sweat or humidity. Moisture is what makes plating tarnish, darken or fade.
  • Store them airtight. Keep them in a dry, airtight pouch or box when you're not wearing them. Adding a small silica gel sachet helps.
  • Clean gently. Use only a dry, soft cloth. Skip polishing liquids, toothpaste or any chemicals.
  • Watch the everyday contact. Regular contact with perfume, skin oils and moisture can slowly dull the finish.
  • Good to know: with regular wear, plating can soften and fade over time. This is natural, even with the best plating, and is not a defect.

Travelling with your pieces

Pack them in their pouch, away from liquids and other jewellery, so they arrive at your plans as loud as they left.
